What Commercial Floor Care Covers
Our floor care program covers stripping (removing worn finish buildup), applying new finish coats, buffing and burnishing to restore gloss, and periodic scrubbing for deep soil removal. We work on vinyl composite tile (VCT), sealed concrete, luxury vinyl tile (LVT and LVP), and terrazzo. We do not strip and wax hardwood or epoxy-coated floors without a site assessment first, as those surfaces require different chemistry.
Standard VCT programs run on a quarterly or semi-annual strip-and-wax cycle depending on traffic volume, with monthly buffing in between. High-traffic entry corridors may require a supplemental scrub-and-recoat pass mid-cycle. All of this is defined in the scope of work before the first service date.
Scheduling and Access
Floor care requires unobstructed access and appropriate dry time before foot traffic can resume. Most strip-and-wax services are scheduled on Friday nights or weekend mornings to avoid disrupting building operations. We confirm the schedule and any access requirements during the quote process. You will not arrive Monday morning to a wet floor.
